EFA Families,
Today we will cover the 2025-26 application deadline, next weeks disbursement, and some reminders about testing.
Current queue dates
We are currently reviewing submissions from the following dates:
Reimbursement - 3/2
Direct Pay - 3/8
Marketplace - 3/7
Pre-approvals - 4/7 (almost all the way caught up!)
If you have a submission from before these dates that has not yet been reviewed, it is likely being given closer consideration. Feel free to reach out to ADE if you have submissions from before these dates.
2025-26 Application Deadline
The deadline for renewal and new student applications is June 1st. Renewal applications are completed by filling out the pop-up survey in ClassWallet. This needs to be done for every returning student.
New student applications are filled out in the FACTS website at arkansasefa.com.
Q4 Funding Coming Next Week
The last disbursement of the 2025-26 school year is upon us! Q4 funding is scheduled to hit your ClassWallet accounts next Tuesday, April 14th. While the funds should be deposited in your EFA account at some point that day, if you wake up at the crack of dawn and check your balance, you probably won't see the funds just yet. That doesn't mean you've been skipped over.
We are working diligently to catch up on the review queue, but please remember than an influx of submissions after the disbursement will cause a delay in reviews for submissions posted after that date. The good news is that we now have additional help to get us caught up in the queues as soon as possible.
Testing Reminder
Please don't forget to have your child take one of our approved tests in Math and Reading. We will send out emails to submit these scores sometime in late May or June. In the meantime just hold onto them. If you need more guidance on testing, check out our Testing Information Page.
For those that have signed up for taking the ATLAS test, you should have received an email about upcoming informational webinars. There will be a morning option and an afternoon option, both on April 22nd. We encourage any family signed up for the ATLAS test to attend one of these sessions. For those unable to attend, a recording will be made available.
If your student is participating in ATLAS testing, please be sure to complete the remote test security agreement form by April 27th or your student will not be eligible to participate in ATLAS testing this year. Those signed up for ATLAS testing should have received an email with a link to that form on March 11th.
We will have more information about the process to request a test exemption available soon. As a reminder, test exemptions will only be granted when a qualified professional provides documentation showing that a student cannot meaningfully participate in the required assessment even with reasonable accommodations.
