Weekly ADE email update

Greetings!

Your student’s Education Freedom Account (EFA) application for the 2025–26 school year is now eligible for funding. Whether you’re a returning participant or new to the program, here’s what to expect as we approach August:

First, we’ll complete one final step to confirm your spot - enrollment verification.

  • Homeschool families: We’ll compare your Notice of Intent to Homeschool with the information on your EFA application.

  • Private school families: Your school will verify your enrollment and attendance once classes begin.

Once we’ve confirmed enrollment, your first-quarter funds will arrive in your ClassWallet account around August 21. You’re welcome to purchase eligible items and services immediately after this date, but please note:

  • New students: Reimbursement requests for expenses paid before July 1 won’t be approved. To ensure reimbursement, wait until July 1 to make any purchases—unless you need to pay registration or tuition fees due before the upcoming school year.

  • Returning students: You may continue to submit reimbursement requests as you have in past years, regardless of purchase date.

Over the next several weeks, you’ll receive additional emails from the Arkansas Department of Education and ClassWallet. These messages will include invitations to webinars, links to instructional videos, and other resources designed to help you and your student get the most out of your EFA funds.

Thank you for participating in the EFA program. We look forward to supporting your family’s educational journey this fall!
