The purpose of the Hornets is to provide home-educated students in Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding areas the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential in the area of athletics and related activities.

We seek more than just winning teams and awards. We desire a program that invests in each and every athlete and family through sports in their journey of homeschooling from Elementary to High school graduation. This can only be accomplished as we come together as a community with a sense of unity and respect for each of us.

Faulkner Falcons
WHAT IS FCHAA?
FCHAA is the Faulkner County Homeschool Athletics Association. FCHAA offers competitive sports teams for homeschoolers in Faulkner County. These teams compete against other homeschool teams, non-AAA private schools, and AAA public and private schools. Due to the nature of competition, some players get more playing time than others. However, all coaches will do their best to give as much playing time as possible to each player.
FCHAA abides by the guidelines set forth by NCHC (National Christian Homeschool Championships), which is an umbrella athletic group that hosts regional and national tournaments. Click on the link below to read more about their eligibility guidelines.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RULES?
1) Profanity, lewd or disrespectful remarks and coarse jesting will not be tolerated.
2) Respect will be expected to be shown toward the coaches and their spouses, other players and their families, referees and officials as well opposing teams and their coaches.
WHAT SPORTS ARE OFFERED?
Girls Volleyball: 18 & Under, 16 & Under, 14 & Under, 12 & Under
Boys & Girls Basketball: 18 & Under, 16 & Under, 14 & Under, 12 & Under, 10 & Under
WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS?
12 & Under and 10 & Under
No player can turn 11 yrs old before August 1st of this year for the 10 & under team.
No player can turn 13 yrs old before August 1st of this year for the 12 & under team.
16 & Under and 14 & Under
No player can turn 15 yrs old before August 1st of this year for the 14 & under team.
No player can turn 17 yrs old before August 1st of this year for the 16 & under team.
Varsity (18 & Under)
No player can turn 19 yrs old before August 1st of this year
WHAT IS THE COST TO PARTICIPATE?
There is a $200-400 membership fee (depending upon age group) for Volleyball and Basketball to cover facility rental, referee charges, tournament entry fees and miscellaneous fees incurred. Uniforms and travel costs vary based on the sport and the age group, but will be in the $200-400 range. (FYI…FCHAA coaches are volunteers and do not receive compensation for their efforts)

Homeschoolers On Target
Registration and Info night will be September 23rd, 6-7pm in Conway at Family Life Bible Church. This night will be for registration and bow rentals, a rundown of how the season will go and to answer any questions.
The fees this year will be $300 per child and we will submit receipts for those that want reimbursement from EFA. There will not be a multi child discount this year.
Registration night will require half down ($150) and the rest due by November 5th. These fees include a jersey, arrows, tournament fees, training day with Joella Bates who is a World Archery 3D Champion, and other costs to run the club.
Bow rentals will be $100 for the season ($50 deposit that is refunded and $50 usage fee). Your deposit will be given back at the end of the season at our team party if the bow is returned and in good condition. The bow deposit will be due at sign ups and the balance by November 5th. Bow rentals are limited.
This is offered for 4th - 12th grade homeschool kids.

We are so excited to have 2 practice sites this year and I am sure we will have another amazing year! We will be offering practice in Conway on Monday from 2-3:30pm and the practice site will be at Compass Academy in their gym. Our second practice option will be on Thursday's in Jacksonville at Landmark Baptist from 6-7:30pm.
