Sourdough box 3

Korah is making her way through her sourdough boxes. She is behind because her original starter DIED a terrible death. But she is learning about the process well. Maybe doing most of it 2-3 times is the best way to really learn LOL

This is an oat bread. It turned out pretty good. She started to make it and had to abandon ship and wait a few days because it called for some things we did not have in stock in the cabinets already. like Chia seeds and spelt.

I have no idea how many times she had to knead it… a lot… But she took it very seriously.

Prebaked it was all settled and ready to transfer to the Dutch oven and bake.

There are no FINSIHED images. I went to deal with my Troll and this child ATE the whole cooked loaf of bread to ‘test’ it… LIKE WTH?? She had it with jam… said it was great; guess we all get to just take her word for it.

Maybe the rest of us will get to TRY the next thing she bakes. The next one is an apple something….

Baketivity Sourdough course has been enjoyable for her. But someone gotta explain to this kid that you are supposed to let OTHERS test it…
