EFA weekly email

EFA Families,

Today we will cover an update on queue reviews and new student application notifications.

Current queue dates

We are currently reviewing submissions from the following dates:

  • Reimbursement - 2/23

  • Direct Pay - 3/3

  • Marketplace - 3/5

  • Pre-approvals - 3/26

If you have a submission from before these dates that has not yet been reviewed, it is likely being given closer consideration. Feel free to reach out to ADE if you have submissions from before these dates.

Extra Help and ClassWallet Review Order

We are receiving support with ClassWallet reviews from an extended review team. This is great news and we feel the review wait times will shorten with these additional reviewers.

These reviewers will focus on specific categories and may not process submissions in the usual order. If your submissions are reviewed out of order, there is no cause for concern. Your earlier submissions have not been skipped.

New Application Notifications

New applications are reviewed based on the date they are submitted. After each priority window closes, eligibility notifications for complete applications will be sent starting the Thursday following that window’s close date. These notifications will come from FACTS. They will continue to send out eligibility notifications each Thursday as they review and process applications.

The priority windows for 2026-27 New Student EFA Applications are:

  • Priority Window A: March 9 – March 29

  • Priority Window B: March 30 – April 19

  • Priority Window C: April 20 – May 10

  • Priority Window D: May 11 – June 1

Notifications for those who applied in Window A started going out today, but if you applied and have not received one yet, don't worry. You can always check on the status of your application by logging into your FACTS account at http://arkansasefa.com

We are happy to be serving you. Have a great rest of the week.

Best,

EFA Team
