Weekly EFA update email
Happy Thursday! Here is your weekly EFA program update:
Current queue dates
We are currently reviewing submissions from the following dates:
Reimbursement - 4/14
Direct Pay - 5/11
Marketplace - 5/22
Pre-approvals - 5/16
If you have a submission from before these dates that has not yet been reviewed, it is likely being given closer consideration. Feel free to reach out to ADE if you have submissions from before these dates.
Test Submission Emails
Test result submission emails went out to homeschool families earlier this week. Many of you have already submitted your scores without an issue, but we know that some have run into technical roadblocks. If you are having trouble submitting scores, please wait a day or two and try again. We will be resending links every Sunday for any student that hasn't submitted scores yet.
Test Submission Fields
There are several fields on the test submission form. The first few will be prepopulated. Please do not edit these. Below that is a drop down where you will select the test taken (or exempt if your child is exempt), and multiple fields for inputting test scores.
Grade-Level Equivalency - This does not mean the grade your child is in. Many tests score performance according to grade-level standards. For example, results with a GLE of 4.2 in math would indicate the student performed on the level of an average student part way through their 4th grade year. If your test does not include a grade-level equivalency score, please use the total - or raw - score given by the test.
Percentile - A percentile score tells where a student falls in relation to other students who took the same test. A percentile of 60 means 40% of students scored higher and 60% scored lower. This is not a measure of the percentage of questions answered correctly. All tests in the drop down (other than the ATLAS) should provide a percentile score.
A step-by-step guide for interpreting and submitting your test results can be found here: How to Read Your Test Score Report.
Test Submission Errors
If you made a mistake in your submission, please use the same link to submit again. We will always use the last score submitted for each student if there are duplicate entries.
We are always happy to be serving you. Have a great rest of your week!
Best,
EFA Team
