Mindful Mathematics: This course prepares your student to master the fundamental patterns of arithmetic and algebra so they can easily navigate higher level math in college (no calculator needed).

Steam Engine Solution uses a proprietary system of Kaizen, mental math patterns, and the latest research on effective and efficient study techniques to help your student awaken their natural math genius and experience what life is like when math is simple, clear and fun to explore!

No special materials, apps or software are needed. As long as you have an internet connection, you can access this video course from anywhere in the world, any time.

This course relies on mental technologies like Vedic Mathematics and Mnemonics, as well as retrieval practice and spaced repetition to deliver profound results with minimal cost of time or effort.

Here’s how it works: all you have to do is login to the course and watch a five to ten minute daily video. Then, you’ll take a short quiz (5 questions) to reinforce what you’ve learned that day. That’s it.

Then, each week, you will have the opportunity to join an hour-long live video coaching call, to review the material from the previous week, should you choose.

If you can’t make it, that’s okay. You will be granted access to the recording for that week, so you’re not left behind. And you will have the opportunity to send in your questions, if you have any, and have them answered on these live video calls.

In only seven weeks of daily practice, just a few minutes a day, you will master the following mentally (forget your calculator, you don’t need it):

Week 1 - The Digital Shift Learn to calculate left to right Learn how to easily identify compliments to unity in any base Learn how to split numbers for easy calculations, even if the numbers are massive

Week 5 - Scale & Curve A super-simple model for logarithms that takes all the confusion out of the topic Learn to use the major system to easily remember the 3 key logs to five digits past the decimal - so you never need a calculator again Understanding the power rule and how to do word problems with logs.

Week 6 - Geometric Vision How to use Pythagorean Triples to skip having to memorize anything for Trigonometry (The unit circle, identities, formulas... it's all here in this one simple device - this will save you SO MUCH time and struggle) A few useful devices to quickly find the equation of a line, and the distance to lines parallel. Useful mental math patterns for dealing with triangles and squares

Week 7 - The Infinite Engine An easy way to master binomial expansion and Taylor Series / Power Series Looking forward to Calculus… I’m not sure just how quickly you can find yourself getting truly excited, as you imagine what your future will be like when math is not only easy for you, but you’re so familiar with the mental patterns that make it all make sense, that you don’t need a calculator anymore, and develop a reputation for being the “local math genius”... But as that happens, I want to understand how important it is not to do too much at once.

This course is structured to be just a few minutes of practice a day, because one of the keys to your success is to SNEAK PAST your amygdala!
