The Hearth School is a small learning community rooted in literature, nature, and creativity. Our goal is to cultivate curiosity, character, and a love of learning through meaningful books, hands-on exploration, and shared community rhythms.
Hi! I'm so excited to introduce The Hearth School to homeschool families in the Little Rock area.
The Hearth School is a small, in-home learning community for grades 1–5, designed for families seeking a warm, personal, literature-rich learning environment.
Our days are rooted in great books, hands-on learning, and time outdoors. Students receive instruction in:
• Language Arts & Reading
• Living Math
• Nature & Science Explorations
• Stories of the World
• Art & Handicrafts
• Poetry Teatime
We prioritize daily reading, outdoor exploration, and meaningful learning through stories, creativity, and discussion.
Families may choose flexible enrollment options:
• 2 Days – Monday & Wednesday
• 3 Days – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• 4 Days – Monday–Thursday
The program is intentionally small and mixed-age, allowing for a calm, nurturing atmosphere where children are known and supported.
This can be a wonderful fit for homeschool families or for parents looking for a thoughtful alternative to traditional school environments.
Enrollment is limited to keep the community small.
If you’d like more information about The Hearth School, feel free to comment or send me a message and I’d be happy to connect!

Hearts & Minds Homeschool Co-op is a family-centered educational community made up of veteran and current homeschooling families working together to provide core academic instruction, enrichment opportunities, and meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
We are committed to supporting the whole child by fostering growth in knowledge, character, and practical life skills within a strong, encouraging community.
In addition to our co-op classes, we offer science-based outdoor immersion and kayaking camps designed to extend learning beyond the classroom.
These camps provide students with the opportunity to explore the natural world through guided, hands-on experiences in areas such as botany, ecology, and waterway systems.
Students engage in real-world observation, critical thinking, and skill-building while learning directly from nature in a safe, family-oriented environment.
Our programs emphasize both educational depth and experiential learning, helping students develop a deeper understanding of science, stewardship, and the world around them.
