Babka - Baketivity Sourdough subscription
Well Korah has kept the starter alive a while now. Trust, this in itself is a commitment. She make Babka this round.
She does well working independently following the video guides and written instruction that come in the boxes.
QUOTE - from the student
“it takes a while to make like most of the recipes from the sourdough there was a lot of waiting for it to rise. It was a lot stretchier and easier to work with than the other breads I made and held the shape better. Despite all of the cocoa powder I didn’t really taste a lot of chocolate in the final product. Overall I’d say it was one of the most fun to make and the second tastiest so far of the sourdough bakes. The donuts were better though.”

She ate the whole thing herself. Stingy little turd. But half of the house is Gluten free so some can’t try her baked goods. She is learning a lot making the monthly boxes. I see her very likely to stick with the sourdough after the course. I got her some extra starter jars and a book on gluten free sourdough so that she can branch into that after completing the Baketivity course.
