More Baketivity fun
Multiple kits, all of the kids. When I have a lot of students all wanting to bake at once the Baketivity kits are very handy. Each having their own instructions they are able to follow allows me a lot more time to properly supervise the group.
Now riddle me this… How many teens does it take to unwrap a roll of paper??
Too many and Too long… an embarrassing amount of time. BUT here is where I failed… Those goobers were supposed to be lining their cooking sheet with parchment paper. Well at some point one of my children used up the parchment and then stuck the SARAN WRAP in the box that said parchment… And being the carefully observant group, they are… these kids absolutely used it to line their pan without question. Melting plastic wrap to the batch of cookies AND my pan. The pan did not survive.
In the end the boys team won, because while the younger girl team had the win on texture and taste one must take off points for baking plastic directly into the baked goods. And for the record yes my crazy husband did taste them all for judging, even the plastic cookies….
