Pop it with Baketivity

Well Kel gave it a go with the popcorn maker kit from Baketivity. For this activity he was not only on his own without my help BUT, he taught his little sister here all about it. Because her little broke @$$ is too little for funding. But, she is doing preschool work and when one of the older students is doing a kit or a stem activity they usually let her be their beautiful assistant.

After they read all of the instructions and went over everything in the booklet. We got popcorn out and ready and they went about setting it up.

They had to set the machine on the floor for the actual popping. There are no outlets in here that are even knee high to a whipper snapper.

They misjudged the size of the bowl. Need a deeper one next time. So, some corn popped right on out onto the floor. Five second rule was extended and they grabbed up every kernel.

Klara gives this TWO thumbs up!

She ran right off with her booty. Baketivity is a Marketplace Vendor on classwallet. Next they are expecting a kit to setup a small cotton candy machine and learn about how the sugar forms into candy.
