Full of Hot Air

Balloons that is... Well edible versions anyhow. The Troll got his big sister to assist him in getting things setup and reading instructions. He is 5 so does still need some help reading things.

Little hands make for busy work. But he managed to get things mixed, only licking the utensils a few dozen times and sending his sister into hysterics over the germs he was blending into everything.

Getting a 5-year-old to properly fill a baking pan is a whole process. My 14-year-old got a good hard lesson in early childhood education dealing with the troll on this project.

They did slightly scorch the edges but overall, nicely striped ballon cupcakes.

Pouring the chocolate bases was where the troll tapped out. He was not able to hit the mark, so he referred to his assistant.

The fully assembled balloons turned out pretty darn cute, considering it’s the work of a 5-year-old troll.
